Apply for a Positioning Teardown

Let's see if there's a fit.

60–90 minutes. No fee. No pitch. Just a focused 1:1 diagnostic on your top GTM challenges and priorities. First, a few questions so I can prep — and so we both know it's the right conversation.

Takes about 5 minutes. I respond to every submission within 2 business days.

What you get

How the workshop actually works.

Step 01

Pre-work (mine, not yours)

I review your assessment, look at your site, and come prepared with the right questions. You don't have to brief me.

Step 02

The workshop · 60–90 min

One-on-one working session on your top GTM challenges. Positioning, ICP, channel mix, AI strategy, whatever's actually keeping you up. We pressure-test, prioritize, and pick what to focus on next.

Step 03

A short follow-up note

Within a few days, you get a one-page summary of what we discussed and recommended next steps — yours to keep, share with your team, or ignore.

The Assessment

Tell me about your business.

About 5 minutes. The more specific, the better — generic answers tend to produce generic conversations.

I review every submission personally within 2 business days. If we're a fit, I'll email you with 2–3 time slots. If we're not, I'll be honest about that too — and often point you to a better resource.

Workshop FAQ

The questions I get most often.

The workshop, the fine print

Why is the GTM Workshop free?
Two reasons. One: it's a great way to meet founders who are actually wrestling with GTM, and some of those conversations turn into real engagements down the road. Two: I genuinely like the work. A focused 60–90 minutes on a real problem is more useful than three coffee chats.
What happens after I submit the assessment?
I review every submission within 2 business days. If we're a fit, I email you with 2–3 time slots. If we're not, I'll tell you that — and often point you to a better resource. Either way, you'll hear back.
What does "qualified" actually mean?
You're a founder or co-founder (not an investor or advisor). You're past idea stage with paying customers or signed pilots. You have a specific GTM problem you're trying to solve — not just looking for general advice. The workshop should be able to actually move the needle. That's it.
Is this a sales call in disguise?
No. There's no slide deck, no pitch, no proposal at the end. The hour is yours. If you want to talk about a paid engagement after, we can — but that's never the goal of the workshop. The goal is for you to walk away with clarity, regardless of whether we ever work together again.
What if I'm not qualified?
I'll tell you honestly and try to point you somewhere useful — usually a specific resource, content, or community that's a better fit for where you are. Not being qualified now doesn't mean not qualified later. Reapply when the situation changes.
What if I'd rather skip the assessment and just talk?
The assessment is how I keep the bar high for both of us — it takes five minutes and tells me whether a Positioning Teardown is the right first step. If you'd rather skip it and discuss a larger engagement directly (GROWTH MAP or Fractional CMO), email me at stacy.yamaoka@gmail.com.
